If you have a car now maintenance is a huge part of keeping the car on the road so you can get from point a to b.
Sometimes if you’re on the road a lot you have engine trouble or flat tires well there are a few ways to keep your car in maintaining shape.
For an over heating engine you will need to have engine oil, gloves and antifreeze & coolant.
If your hood is smoking that is a sign that your engine is over heating and you need to shut the car off right away and pop the hood.
Next you will want to let the engine cool down before you touch anything (the engine will be hot).
Once you have waited about 20-25 minutes you will want to check the oil levels’ using the dipstick – the stick usually is yellow and is on the left side of the engine. The oil should be at the notch marked full.
The next step is to check the coolant levels in the radiator. Top off with antifreeze and coolant if it’s low. If the coolant was low it might indicate a leak check for any noticeable dripping.
If you find a leak you need to take your car to an auto repair place near where you live.
