Google Maps finally comes to apple car play with iOS 12 and actually works. You can stop pretending you love Apple Maps better than you do google maps app.
This is another Google product that will work with CarPlay in OS 12. So, you can now say buy to Apple Maps if you love the Google Maps product.
Google maps for me is the go to for directions once I hope into my car and need directions and it should be for you now too. There a ton of folks that are moving Apple Maps to the second page on their CarPlay screen and I highly advise it too.
But I am a Google products person, so I am a bit bias.
